I don't think that the "litter" thing is truly the issue. It's the fact that "the suits" will mine any absurd fodder for these nauseating "reality" shows. Is "Jon and Kate Plus Eight" (aka "Kate Plus Eight Minus Jon") any crazier than Flava Flav having a dating show????????????????????????????

I wonder if clothier has also banned hulu from the boys' viewing list?

| Don't watch Flava Flav either. He has a dating show? At least that could be humorous, possibly. Does he wear the clock on the dates, too?
I just imagine the litter shows as being one big gripe about how difficult life is with all these "cute" kids. Maybe I've got it wrong...? All I know is that I wouldn't want to watch it. Clothier makes fun of me liking sci-fi, but give me ST:TNG over these breeding shows and dating shows and voting talent shows anyday. |

| in my defense, I make fun of you for lots of things.
and the show has changed sooo much since it started. THe parents turned into whores (see the trip to Hawaii, the mutliple Disney trips, and Monday night's 1/2 long commercial for the playhouse company that was so effective that it caused there website to fail). and it became all about the interplay between jon and kate, which is usually painful to watch, and has been for years. Her job became being a celeb, and as we all know, that never works out.
Oh, and of the Star Treks, I think TNG is the best. The episodes with "Q" in them? Some of the best TV ever.

One of my lunch buddies swears he heard someone on TV utter this incredibly inelegant phrase in an attempt to praise Mr. McMahon's talents as a sidekick: "He was Number One at being Number Two." How's about that for Ed's epitaph?

| I guess it would be better than:
"He was Number One and making Number Two!"

One of the news stories that I read quoted one of his celeb friends (Diana Ross, maybe?) saying essentially the same thing. The idea was that we should celebrate his life now, because when the tox report comes back, all hell is going to break loose. As for the other stuff... While I have always thought he was just a little creepy with the kids, one really does have to wonder how much money it would take for you to drop a lawsuit and keep quiet about things if it was one of YOUR kids involved in these allegations. Holy crap. I don't even have kids - but, if I did and one of them had to endure any of these "alleged" situations, I would really think that my overriding desire to see the man gang raped every day for the rest of his natural life in prison would outweigh my need for any sum of money. Not saying it did or didn't happen...but, it is something to consider.
