| Uh, thanks there, Agnes. I also heard that there's a brand new dance in town called "The Freddie." Anyhoo, my original inquiry starting and atop this thread was a sincere one. If Goddess' answer is equally sincere than so-be-it but as the majority of us were once denizens of the RogueFood island, I thought it might be interesting to see what happened since Jack, Locke or Carrot Cake Man found the hatch. That's all. | |

Isn't that precisely the kind of nasty talk that caused all the problems over there? Why can't you leave it alone you sophomoric fuckweasel?

That's all. OK...Well...like...nobody was using it. Perhaps you noticed? Why keep it up? When someone approaches you to take a sinking ship off your hands, you take it. Seriously. It had turned into a money pit. It really is as simple as that. It also allowed all the stuff that was good over to still be around. Because if we had canned it, as we were planning. It would have gone down the intertubes. |

It also allowed all the stuff that was good over to still be around. Because if we had canned it, as we were planning. It would have gone down the intertubes. First, let me say that I really am glad you are here. I know that this is not the site that you had envisioned when you first set up ROGUEfood, but, quite frankly, I don't think ROGUEfood was, either. It surely isn't now. Either way, while we still kept periodically in touch via email or flickr, I know that this site is a better place with your presence (at least until i95 says something stupid and chases you away.... where's that ticking time bomb smiley face?). Still, I really do wish you had let our previous work flow off down the river that is the lost Internets. I would much rather have it nowhere than in the hands of that oversized fuckstick (still lurking around over here??? ). The rules posted on YOUR web site clearly stated that the poster "owned" what they wrote. His rules say that he owns what everyone writes. Again, I would much rather have whatever gems I concocted float off into the abyss than be under his control. When we spoke back in December, the word was that you guys were just going to let things die. If I had known that there would be a change in ownership - and who that ownership would be - I would have deleted all of MY work, my photos, etc. I'm really not trying to pick a fight - I swear. Further, I don't want to make this out to be any kind of headhunt - I really mean it when I say that I am glad you are here - and surely don't want you to go. But, I really do wish you had sent an email to the group telling folks that there was a change coming - new ownership - and really even who that new ownership would be. We could have then taken appropriate (and perhaps different) action knowing that a change had been made from letting the site just die. Instead, I have subsequently been banned from THAT SITE for something I said on THIS site (which I still stand by, by the way). Anyway...it's off my chest. I promise I am done with that topic. You won't hear about it from me again.

One more for the resume. What is the count? If you are approaching some sort of record I can ban you just for the publicity.

Anyway...it's off my chest. I promise I am done with that topic. You won't hear about it from me again. Again, I had nothing to do with the site after I left. I wanted to close it down. Pool Boy kept it up. He decided to sell out. I was not involved except to say that I thought it should be left to die, too. But he didn't want the stuff gone. But really--how the heck was he supposed to know what rules or terms the new ownership would implement? Seriously? He is supposed to negotiate all that stuff for a bunch of fucktards who didn't bother to post? Ask their input when they had all but abandoned the site? WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD HE EVEN THINK THE MEMBERS WOULD CARE OR NOTICE?????I think Thomas is still moderating over there, so you should really talk to him about all of this. Perhaps he could delete your stuff for you? Glad that is off my chest, too. Whew. |
