| California mom kills baby in microwaveAdmittedly, the story is horrible. There aren't really a whole lot of discussion points - except for the fact that there appears to be a rash of microwave baby killings. What in the hell are people thinking? But..... ....may I direct your attention to the comments section for a moment, please. - Quote :

They don't really brown well when you cook them in a microwave.

If you scroll down the comments a little further, it is quite possible that you might recognize the comment that is time-stamped June 22, 2011 12:23 AM EDT as being from a moderator on another food-related web site. The Internets is a scary place.

| That's funny.....I was thinking of banning children.
Then there would be no danger of anyone operating a microwave in an inappropriate manner.

Then there would be no danger of anyone operating a microwave in an inappropriate manner. But then who will microwave my budget gourmet when I am old and too feeble to operate said microwave?

| I admit to being a sick fucker but this incident does test the limits of my theory that humor can be found in any subject.
That said, I did have a fleeting thought that Ka Yang, in a rush to get dinner on the table, might have accidentally confused the baby with the dog.
See, I'm always trying to think the best of people.

One more person who won't see "The Town." That is a shame, as, and stop me if I mentioned this before, The Town is a pretty darn good little movie.

See, I'm always trying to think the best of people. My mind just keeps flashing to hot dogs that exploded in the microwave. Damn, that is horrible.

| I was thinking about this article yesterday.
In 2000, a Virginia woman was sentenced to five years in prison for killing her month-old son in a microwave oven.
That lady should have hired Jose Baez.
