Has anyone else seen this yet? It was very good, though I am an admitted Aaron Sorkin junkie.

One of the things I learned was that Facebook was originally called "The Facebook." That seemed funny given the nature of conversation around these parts.

It would also appear that Mark Zuckerberg was on the dope (or at the very least, the drink) when he created the Facebook.

I watched The Social Network and then Machete shortly after. I preferred the latter, although they were about tied for the most amount of back stabbing.

Can't imagine that the Zuckerberg was happy with his portrayal.

Caught it last weekend. I found it impressive that the actor playing Zuckerberg, early in the movie, seeming captured that ADHD constant eye-twitching as if his brain was on overload (which it clearly was). I also liked the line by the girl laying on a table and about to be the vessel for a body shot by Justin Timberlake inquiring whether the whole process would be better without her bra.

Conversely, Eduardo likely was. As, frankly, the Harvard twins, should be, as well.

On a related note, I also saw "Red" this weekend. Truly one of the worst movies I've even seen. Should've been re-titled, "Bruce Willis Smirks for Two Hours."

Someone needs to find the forces behind movies like this -- and the similar "we're as cool as 'Get Shorty'" remake of "The Thomas Crown Affair" (with Pierce Brosnan and Renee Russo) -- and beat the living smugness out of them.

Yeah, but I always loves the John Malkovich! I actually found Willis fairly tolerable in this one. I usually don't.

Saw the a-team. Liked the van, rest was barely watchable. Sorry George. I know you loves the a-team.

The movie did make me realize Jessica Biel is way more appealing in still pictures than them there moving picture shoes. Wonder what type of wood she is actually made of? I am guessing maple.

No, which would likely explain his coincidental donation of $100 million to the Newark public school system the week before this movie came out. It seemed curious at the time why someone raised of reasonable means in Westchester County, NY - relocated to California - would donate to the Newark public school system. While there aren't many Westchester school districts destined for such abject poverty, I know there have to be some Calli schools that could use the dough.

So that money was dick-head penance?

I don't know. I think the one brother came off as rather douchey. I did like the line "I'm 6'5", 220, and there are two of me!"

BTW, did you realize that it was the same actor playing both brothers? I DID think that was cool.

I went into the movie with exceptionally low expectations - and the movie exceeded those. Is it Oscar-worthy? No. Was it a fine escape from reality for about 90 minutes? Sure.

Still, the best thing I heard about that movie was that it was a $90 million (or however much it cost to make the thing) excuse to play the theme song. And, if I had $90m to piss away to play the theme song....I would.

Multitasking my friend, multi-freakin-tasking!

Got about half a dozen computers lit up at once over here in the cave. Got some for work, some for movies, which I watch primarily with sound low or off if on phone, and then the all important porn computer. Fear not, shit gets done. I'll still be working while most of you chuckle heads are sound asleep.

By "working," you mean that the porn computer will be humming late into the night?

Speaking of current movies, have you 'tards seen:

"The Social Network" Faf99_Emma-Stone-Easy-A-Movie-Poster-PHOTOS1

Very John Hughes-esque INCLUDING (and I know I've
posted this before) Cary Brothers' great Thompson Twins
cover, "If You Were Here," on the film's soundtrack.
