PostSubject: Hey Pool Boy   Hey Pool Boy EmptyMon Mar 30, 2009 9:58 am

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother.

for those of you that don't know, this was lifted from Pool Boy's facebook page:

My brother, Heiko, passed away 2 days ago. I still can't believe it. Heiko was an inspiration for me in many, many ways -- music, humor, coolness, wit, math, intelligence, and for making me realize that you *can* make your own way, your own path in life, no matter how meandering and that it's all good. I looked up to him, even when I grew to be taller than him. He was and will forever be my big bro. I love you Heiko.

Thomas and Debbie,

I know we irreverently joke around here about almost everything (including death) but this truly sucks. My sincerest condolences on your loss.

POW, I know we joke about it, and worry that the language I used would be taken as a joke, but I am sincere in expressing my condolences.

Just wanted to make that clear.

13,

I never took your original post as anything but sincere and I'm sure neither will Thomas and Debbie. Sorry if you thought I was saying otherwise. My point, somewhat sloppily framed, was that even for this group of clowns there are real life events that whack us with a sobering shot of reality.

I didn't think you were saying otherwise, but a re-read of my first post and inclusion of the "sorry for your loss" phrase was clearly not the best choice.

If you don't mind me asking, what happened? As a fellow 47 year old those things weigh on my mind.

Thanks all. It's been really, really rough.

This being said, my brother Heiko loved humor in all forms. He particularly loved George Carlin, but he really enjoyed all of humors forms....

I will miss him terribly and I have many regrets, but I hope to keep his spirit alive by remembering him and keeping him close in my thoughts and mind.

Here are some pictures that Goddess scanned so far. We have many more to go....

Yes, and far less sensitive. We are, after all, a bunch of fucktards.

Goddess and on a serious note, Independent George wanted to know what was so cute about his pancreatitis. I told him he was being insensitive.

You're welcome.

You think he would've learned his lesson after getting slapped for telling a waitress who was having chest pains that he thought he had acute angina.
