I actually caught this article yesterday on yahoo.com. I'm pretty sure that at this point in my life I couldn't bear a move to an even smaller backwater than I moved to 28 years ago so I'm not taking the bait.

On the other hand, you should give it a shot. Grow a beard (if you don't already have one), get circumsized (if you aren't already), learn how to say "OY" with just the proper amount of world-weary attitude and you're pretty much in.

I think I can pull it off. I was afraid I'd have to grow the sideburn dreadlock things. I guess those are optional? And most of you guys are cool with pork right? I don't think they'll let you into Alabama otherwise goyim or otherwise.

I believe you can eat pork, but the pig has to be exceptionally clean and you need to sit shiv'ah when the pig is terminated.

I'm thinkin' an Alabama Jew is probably allowed to eat pork. I wouldn't push it as far as washing a ham and cheese sandwich down with a big a glass of milk, though.

I went to catholic school my whole life, so I am familiar with the handling of both testicles!
