| Yeah...been on the news pretty much nightly around here lately. Yawn.
I really don't get what the hubbub is - other than it happening during the news sweeps month.
Now, *if* they are running a business, then they should be made to follow whatever rules are in place for running a business (zoning, register with the state, insurance, licenses, pay taxes, etc.). However, if they are not a business, then I don't see how what they're doing is anything different than anyone else in town inviting a bunch of friends over and having a party on private property.
Somewhere, a lawyer will get rich from this.

| what's different is they charge to come into the house, which, in the eyes of some sheriff, makes it a business.
if this didn't involve sex, no one would care. If i charged you 2 bucks to come to my tupperware party, no one would care.

| Good call fellas.
There's no place in the world better to pick up desperately horny broads than a good tupperware party.
And more likely than not they can cook.
Someone should tell Wandering Jew.

I heard Harriet won't be able to make it.

| There are actually events called Fuckerware Parties. A gathering of women to buy and peruse adult toys. |

I read about that somewhere, how sex toy parties have replaced the old food storage parties.

They claim that they only solicited "suggested donations," which I think most would consider semantics. But, if someone chose to attend one of their parties and not pay the suggested donation, then there is no admission fee. Of course, I suppose that means that they wouldn't get invited back, either.

| I like it better when every sentance ends with if not the words "if you know what I mean" but the innuendo of "if you know what I mean".
good thread discussion so far ...guys, if you know what I mean

| I am not involved.
Hear me know, believe me later.
But, I do wish that I came up with the idea. It's fucking brilliant.
