As is evident, the forum was involved in "one of the worst catastrophes in the world" and members and posts were lost.
I have rebuilt from saved files and info I had on hand.

Nice to hear that it was "one of the worst catastrophes in the world" I took it personally. Still a little bent.

I guess you get what you pay for with free forum software.
The old address now takes you to a new forum with the old name for this one??? Not sure how that happened so damn fast.

I'm calling Bullshit.
This was all a plot to knock me back from top poster back to zero. I'm sure Clothier is to blame somehow.
I was neither rascist nor homophobic, if anything I was trying to steer things more toward mockery of women, or possible Asians.

I guess that's fair.
I'll have to get started posting insipid nonsense to catch back up.
Please try not to confuse me with Clothier.

Please keep my post count at one so I can quit paying the fortune teller to pick what # I bail at.
In other news, does anyone know Captain Morgan, the disc jockey, actually I guess they don't have those anymore so let's say, radio personality ?
I didn't want to alarm everyone over there but that roossy90 person who keeps telling him to call her reminds me of a similiar story in Monterey that turned tragic some years back. I hope he's OK.

Speaking of humanity. the always friendly Elise is talkin' Buffalo over there.
Put your thinking lids on folks. Was it wandering jew or Dr. Judge Traveler that made a legendary comment either about Buffalo or Niagara Falls, NY.
It was something like this.
"Nowhere has one seen more people who collectively have seemed to completely lost their will to live sometime in the 1970's"
Can someone post the actual quote ?
(I can't search for it, security has my photo at the front desk)

Here it is. It's from here and, indeed, it was a classic. :D
CLOTHIER:
Buffalo is a great town if...
JUDGE TRAVELING MAN:
Actually, this is a decent thought to ponder.
(a) you have no other points of comparison, save for Mogadishu (maybe - I hear it's nice there in the spring); (b) you enjoy encountering a large class of people who all seemingly lost the will to live back in the mid-1970s; (c) seeing snow that won't melt until mid-July makes you sport wood; (d) you are about 60 lbs overweight - but, it doesn't matter because everyone else is, too, and no one will ever see you naked because it is too f-ing cold; (e) you need to pee on your way to Erie, PA
There could be 10 points out there for the taking for someone who wants to give this a shot.

That Travelin Man sure is a funny dude.
I always liked it when he ended each episode by saying "I love it when a plan comes together."

Thanks, That must have been during the heyday. Everyone contributed good stuff.
The whole thread is worth reviewing, chisler's top two and wandering jew's top ten are both tops.

No, no, no...your memory is off. The Travelin Man's sign off was "Good night, John Boy".
