| It's always nice (well let me take that back, not always)..........................mostly nice when new folks join our little club. I believe you'll find Way Off Topic to be one the most welcoming boards you've ever been on.
I hope you won't mind responding to a little questionnaire we usually require of new WOTers.
1) Are you really a doctor? If so, medical or Ph.D? I'm hoping you're a psychiatrist (or at least a psychologist) because some of our members can use a lot of therapy and this is much cheaper than actually making appointments.
2) Is your name really Chuck? Or Charles?
3) Or are you a butcher who thought Doc Chuck made you sound more important, like when a garbage man calls himself a sanitation engineer?
So, what's your deal? Inquiring minds want to know!

| Thank you for your warm welcome. As you may know, I have been unjustly banished from many food sites. I blame this primarily on the liberal agenda of those who run many web pages.
I will try and see if this web page provides an outlet for my writings.
To answer your questions, yes, I am a REAL doctor. I have several advanced degrees including a PhD in Psychology. I have no interest in addressing your psychosis.
My given name is Charles and my name Doc Chuck is a reflection of my nickname and educational achievement.
I trust this addresses your curiosity sufficiently.

I trust this addresses your curiosity sufficiently. DC, Glad that you seem willing to play along. Although politics isn't really our thing, WOT is a pretty wide-open venue so most everything is fair game. You will find nuts of both the left and right wing variety here but we tend to not take anything too seriously. My guess is that some of our members will put your "no interest in addressing your psychosis" statement to the test. What true man of science could resist the challenges posed by attempting to understand the likes of clothier? It is my hope that you don't expect your doctor-ness or educational achievement to garner you any level of respect here because I can guarantee that you will be sorely disappointed. Once again, welcome to WOT.

| Who does one petition to get their own section on this web page? I see characters Pool Boy and Pope have such sections, and in addition to my blog, I feel such a section may help people better focus on what I have to say. | |

I'm sure that if he was so inclined Agent 13 could easily set up "Chuckie's Corner" as your own little sandbox. Based on your stated desire to have people "better focus on what you have to say", I would like to retract my previously posted thought regarding how attempting to understand clothier might present a challenge for you.

Actually it's been ages since Mr. C caused any mayhem or vitriol filled flame sessions. Is it possible that this site has some therapeutic value?
