Although definitely not a man of refinement and good taste, I really liked it too.
It reminded me of "Koyaanisqatsi", a trippy wordless film from the early 80's that combined slow motion and time-lapse shots of cityscapes and natural landscapes put to the music of avante-garde composer Philip Glass.
