But, I proclaim this...
(Our local WB re-ran the "Summer of George" episode tonight, followed immediately by the "not that there's anything wrong with that" episode!)
But, it did prompt me to outline my possible upcoming travel plans.
This weekend - New York City, and Agent 13's (I think??) former high school next Monday!
April 4-8 - Houston and Austin, TX
April 16-20 - Indianapolis/Chicago (still tentative, but looking good!)
April 27 - May 8 (?) - New York - Long Island, Westchester, NYC
May 20-24 - Raleigh/Durham, NC - ACC Baseball tournament (tentative)
Other possibilities for the rest of summer include Montreal (just need to pick the right weekend and get my passport, and I am good to go), Omaha (College World Series - but, I may punt that for next year, and just do the ACC tournament), Baltimore (with an eye on August, so I can make my free Orioles game!), some kind of New England run, and possibly a midwest trip (Cincy?).
That's what's on the radar, anyway. I'm psyched, as I have a slight dose of cabin fever. I've been home for almost a month already without getting out of town!

midwest?
and you picked Cincy?
other then it's close proximity to the beloved King's Island (home of the Beast, the longest wooden roller coaster in the world) and some pretty decent chili, why Cinci?
Doesn't you want to ccome to Detroit?
Not that it matters to me, cuz you know me, I'll set up a meeting with you, and then dis you at the last minute.

Hey, you already lost your first star Goddess!
Congrats.
In case you hadn't noticed, you'll lose stars (and credibility) the longer you are here.

Ok...let's get this straight. I have been to Detroit. I can safely say that I can scratch it off of my list of things to do...possibly forever. The UP, maybe? Detroit...ummm, not so much.
The only possible option is heading off to one of those casinos in Windsor. If I can win about $400-500, I figure I could come back and buy all of GM. That has some merit. SOME. Other than that - yeah, I'll choose Cincy - even with TJ Jackson, over Detroit.
And, I hate chili.
And, I would still choose Cincy...so, where does that leave ya?

Larry had no trouble figuring out who I was and banning me from that other place.
Apparently, though, he has far-reaching Internets power, so he may be able to ban me from here all the way from over there - so, I better talk nice about him and his shit-spewing minions.

UPDATE:
This is what I get for planning out my travel options for the next few months. I found out this morning that I may have one more added into the mix - and it was on one of my "free" weeks, too.
This weekend - New York City, and Agent 13's (I think??) former high school next Monday!
April 4-8 - Houston and Austin, TX
April 16-20 - Indianapolis/Chicago (still tentative, but looking good!)
April 27 - May 8 (?) - New York - Long Island, Westchester, NYC May 10-15 - Reno, NV (never been!)
