Sign of the Bad Times

well, it looks like when people lose their jobs, they don't eat to make themselves feel better.

The Krispy Kreme just down the road from me is closing up shop on Sunday.

No more warm soft doughnuts.


On the other hand, Donna's which is even closer, and is locally owned, and has been in business for about 50 years, and used to give doughuts away to union members when GM went out on strike back in the day, is still going strong.

Maybe my local michiganders are smarter then i thought.

I assume you're not referring to these "warm soft doughnuts".

Krispy Kreme's are closing all over. I think it has more to do with a crappy business plan then anything else. Donna would probably say the same thing.

How do you place that ad if you are the photographer?

If you respond to that ad, and you see 4 other women there just as fat as you, don't you think to yourself "hmm. this photo is going to make me look stupid"?
