| Yes, I did. The wife and I were in line at 6:35AM (the polls opened at 7AM) and there were about 20 people ahead of us when we arrived and a seriously large crowd behind us by the time the doors were opened. | |

| I did not, and I don't think I will.
Because voting republican in Maryland is like pissing into a monsoon.
And because I saw McCain's half time interview last night during the football game. I was never very happy about the GOP ticket this time out, but after managing to look dumber than Chris Berman, I just can't justify burning the calories required to stand in line.
None of this means that I believe in Obama. I don't. He sucks.

None of this means that I believe in Obama. I don't. He sucks. I hear you! I am troubled yet again by a political choice that is the equivalent of "Do you want to be kicked in the balls with a blue shoe or a red shoe?"...neither is a choice I am really happy with. We have a local, state senate race that has attracted major money and attention, and I can't figure out why. We had national political figures showing up for campaigning. I even got a recorded message from Bill Clinton! This is a real head scratcher to me.

| Our local congressional contest features a liberal democrat running against a liberal republican.
They can both bite me. | |

| Here's my story...long lines at the polls. The most heart-warming moment was when people behind me handed out free candy, and Red Bull. Don't know who supplied them, perhaps a local store but there was no advertising, it may just have been someone who went and bought them and shared it with the rest of the tired people in line. ("Socialism!"). And a local reporter from ABC News filmed a short segment since I am the only Republican in my district still above ground. I tried to keep myself busy and as inconspicuous as possible by checking out everybody's Obama gear. That's right, even though you are not supposed to wear any partisan clothes, buttons or accessories 100 ft of voters, almost everybody had something - earrings, shirts, buttons, car magnets etc. buttons in Hebrew no less..This would have never been permitted when I was a chief judge. Kids these days | |

| Based on the distinct lack of any bulgeness in this guy's "package area" is it possible that the Socialist depicted on his undies has already redistributed his assets? | |

| Arrived at my polling place around 6:40 am and was back home by 7:30. I witnessed a young lady taking a picture of her father (maybe in his late 60's) coming out of the polling place. It was apparently the first time he'd voted. It was a pretty cool scene.
Hopefully, he will now feel somewhat engaged in the process and will continue to vote in the future.
Unless he voted for the other guy, in which case....well, he's old, so he may not make the next election.

| I got my ass out there around 4pm. No god damn refreshments. They would get a lot more people if they had refreshments. Had two old, old ladies ahead of me and each spent at least 5 minutes in the box. There were only about 5 choices to make so god knows what took them so damn long.
The whole process took only about 15 minutes. I don't have any heart warming story like George. Just the two slow old bats.

| Not only did i vote, i volunteered all day to take people to the polls to vote and make about 1000 phone calls. I took a couple who were 95 and 94 who have been married for 75 years. They picked up absentee ballots for the next election so they don't have to leave the house. Now that is optimism. |

I truly doubt this pair's mental capacity to vote. What kind of fucking idiots can be married for 75 years and still have any sense of optimism?

Maybe she promised him anal on his 96th birthday. Maybe? Shit, if I make it to 96, I am demanding anal from someone. That'll be a fun day at the home.

That'll be a fun day at the home. Dude, take it from me...that is a declaration you definitely want to qualify...especially if it is made while incarcerated.
