To answer Mr. Stanley's question....Dice is my aunt-by-marriage's nephew. I don't know how those things work - second cousin, once removed or some shit like that. But, it goes down like this....

My father's brother's wife (the aunt) is the relation. His real name is Andrew Silverstein. Her maiden name was Silverstein. My aunt's brother (Fred) is Dice's father.

Supposedly we were at a Bar Mitzvah together when I was a kid, but I surely don't remember - he is about 15 years older than me, I think.

I found out about it when I came home from college after my first semester for winter break. I went to a family thing at my aunt and uncle's house and saw a signed picture of Dice hanging in the living room. Since this was about as out of place as anything I can even think of - I asked - and got the scoop.

So, yeah. Dice....cousin(-ish). Whatever.

Since it appears that our new "thing" is going to be making outlandish claims of familial relations with unfunny comedians, can Billy Heff's statement that he's a something a few times removed of Dane Cook be far behind?
