i need a little mid-winter sports help

so, i kinda got caught up this year in the NFL, since, well, we not have the NFL next year. Anyways, I didn't pay much attention to what else was going on in the world of sports. so, bring me up to speed,ok?

1. March madness - still starts in march, right? and everyone still hates Duke, right?

2. Hockey - stanley cup playoffs still include all but 2 teams, and ends in july, and everyone still hates the red wings, right?

3. pro basketball - no one cares, the season never ends, and labron james is still a douchebag, right?

Pichers and catchers report today, NASCAR's season is just opening and don't do drugs....and that's it.

And, I don't know about you boys, but somehow the grass seemed just a little greener today with pitchers and catchers reporting to spring training.

Actually, I was referring to the fact that most NASCAR fans seem to be waiting for the one guy to make a right turn - and thereby causing the crash to end all crashes. I swear I was listening to the local talk radio yesterday and one of the callers said that he was concerned for Dale Jr because this is the 10th anniversary of his father's death - as though that has some correlation to the son's safety. Still...I couldn't help but think that one of the reasons that this guy was going to watch the race on Sunday was in the hopes of seeing something horrific.

And, as for MY baseball team, I think that it is far more likely that their singular greatest athletic accomplishment on the field this season may be earning a birdie on their off day.

you know, I've never been to "the cheesecake factory". i understand portions are huge, but the food?
