George? Did you have anything to do with this?

Freeport residents Zach and Sarah Jackson were on their way home from a dentist appointment when they spotted something in the median of U.S. Highway 331.

They turned around and drove by again to get a second look.

It was roadkill: a dam beaver.

And it was wrapped in a gray button-down shirt and a can of Monster energy drink was placed by its side, reports the Northwest Florida Daily News.

"I don’t even know where to start," said Stan Kirkland, with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. "Someone putting a shirt or an outfit on a dead beaver is something I have never heard of."

"I'm guessing that alcohol and spring break may have played a part in this," Kirkland said.

Stan Kirkland with the FWC said beavers in this area can weigh between 60-80 pounds.

I think Stan Kirkland said it best....

"I'm guessing that alcohol and spring break may have played a part in this," Kirkland said.
