| KC folks are as serious about their que loyalties as New Yorkers are about thier pizza.
For my money I would state: Bryant's is living on its rep and is past its prime
I'm not much of a Gates fan.
LC's is great (especially the burnt ends) if she's okay with a low down and dirty place.
Oklahoma Joe's has wonderful, consistent food (it's Mrs. POW's fave) and has the interesting "in an old gas station" atmosphere.
If she wants something upscale, Jack Stack serves surprisingly excellent que considering the fancy digs. Everything here is very good and the lamb ribs and crown prime beef ribs here are really unique.

| I'm glad sis liked OK Joe's.
The oddness of how we know each other without really knowing each other was best expressed by i95, who when we met for lunch in DC, said he felt kind of weird telling his wife that "he was having lunch with some guy he met on the internet".

I have had that same conversation...the "guy he met on the internet" one...with Steve when he was in town.
