While I do find this inappropriate, I don't find it surprising. My kids teachers, with a couple of exceptions, have been quite unimpressive. One had a couple of highly visible, and bad, tattoos...another was snapping her gum while talking at parent teacher night. I was tempted to just get the trash can and hold it in front of her like the nuns used to do. In the words of my hero, Forest, Forest Gump... stupid is as stupid does.
