My son has had a bit of a cold all week and wanted to stay home from school today. I didn't let him. Not that there would have been anything wrong with that.

I heard on the radio this morning that people are dragging themselves out of ICUs to get in to work today.

How do you figure the economy would be affected by five random people calling in sick in five separate parts of the country?

Applebees, though, would take a beating.
