Re: Entourage!!!!!!
I am now officially caught up and ready to discuss. My first comment, which includes no spoilers is that I continue to be amazed at just how much "stuff" they pack into each 24-minute episode.

Re: Entourage!!!!!!
I'm also caught up. Georgie, since you are the originator of the Entourage thread I think it's only proper that you start us off.

Re: Entourage!!!!!!
I thought last week's episode was better, overall, but this week's had its moments. The biggest downside to me was that it seemed like the episode was so rushed, I couldn't get a sense of how much time had elapsed. Drama bought a bar - and the next thing you know, there is a neon sign going up. Did they just happen to have already made that said "Johnny Drama's"? E and Vince had a fight - but, it seemed like that was fixed the next day.
Any show where the former Edgar from 24 makes an appearance is a win for me.
If I was having phone sex with Jamie Lynn Sigler, I would ENCOURAGE my mom - or anyone else who happened to be in the house, to pick up the phone.
As a season ender, I would have preferred more of a cliffhanger - something to make me wonder what is going to happen next. This almost seemed like a series finale - everything wrapped up in a neat little package - almost too neat.
Overall grade: B

Re: Entourage!!!!!!
Georgie,
All of your criticisms are valid and I agree with all of them but I think I liked it a bit more than you. I really enjoyed the New York-y feel of the episode and the differences drawn between NY and LA. I also loved the scenes with "the boys" and Vince and Drama's mother (Academy Award Winner (and real-life Queens girl) Mercedes Ruehl). You're also right that they left us without a cliffhanger but we can look forward to seeing more of Scorcese's outrageous scene-stealing eyebrows next season.
My Grade - B+*
*No show without a "Lloyd Scene" can ever rate an A.

Re: Entourage!!!!!!
I agree with you Georgie about the time element. The show usually takes place within a day, maybe a few days. This one seemed to wander. The breakup and makeup of E and Vince seemed entirely too easy. As you have written before, it is amazing how much they cram into each show, but this time it almost seemed they crammed too much and didn't touch on everything to the degree they normally would.
You guys are generous...I give it a C.
POW...I agree about the Lloyd moments...they are always a highlight!
