The great heroism of Capt. Chesley Sullenberger, the crew and passengers of the US Air flight that landed in the Hudson River brought to mind this profile in courage from our own beloved Independent George.

Pushing over the lady in the walker was brilliant. I think that maybe more than any other one single event on the show, that clip may have embodied the persona that is George.

I just want to be clear about one thing.

I would have simply gone AROUND the woman in the walker. Pushing her over was unnecessary and possibly dangerous.
