Re: ****>>>> Who?
well, here in the heartland, we solved the traffic problem by just ignoring the speed limit.
Autobahn?
Hah!
Try the Chrysler at 7:30am. Everyone is doing 95.

Re: ****>>>> Who?
I've always felt that it should be perfectly acceptable to run someone off the road and kill them for failing to use their turn signal.
Run them off the road, make sure they're dead and shove the turn signal up their ass so the cops knows what form to fill out when they arrive.

This is a nice touch.
You are a good citizen to take the time to be so helpful to law enforcement.

This brought to mind an old episodic movie named "If I Had A Million", which featured 8 or so stories of what people did with the million dollar gift they were given randomly by a dying millionaire. As I remember it the pertinent episode featured W.C. Fields, who spent the money buying a fleet of cars and hiring a bunch of drivers for the purpose of getting back at the kind of drivers he has always despised and maniacally decries as "ROADHOGS". Fields and his minions drive down the road and when he spots someone whose driving pisses him off he summarily runs them off the road and leaves them and their (and his) vehicle crumpled along the side of the road/in a ditch/ etc. He then gets in the next vehicle in his fleet and dispatches the next offender and then does this over and over again. I've always thought that this kind of behavior would be really liberating and a huge amount of fun.
I believe a clip of this episode exists on youtube but I can't do the youtube thing here at work. If someone wants to check it out and feels that it's worthy of posting please add it to this thread.

Re: ****>>>> Who?
Something I find liberating is an art form my cousin taught me...the rolling roadblock, or jam car. The key here is to make it appear you are not trying to do this...just that you are an idiot.
I will sometimes drive well out of my way to stay in front of someone who is riding right on my bumper and acting way too aggressive on the road. Most of the people I irritate are women in SUV's or Mini-Vans who drive around my neighborhood like they are transporting critically ill patients when in reality they are heading to soccer practice or to the A&P to buy a jar of paprika. Fuck them I say! If I can raise their blood pressure a bit, I consider it time well spent.

I do this also. It is just a part of being the passive/agressive wonder that is me.

Thanks. Of course I can't see it now but I hope it's as entertaining as I remember.

My excuse is that I really am an idiot....and yes...the clip is most entertaining!

Re: ****>>>> Who?
When I drive, I always have one hand on the wheel and the other holding my cell phone up to my ear. So, therefore, I can't use my vehicle's direction signals.
But I think everyone driving around me understands both that as well as the importance of my cell phone calls.

I used to as well, until one day I jammed my brakes to further make my point. The resulting spin out behind me scared me almost as badly as the asstard tailgater.

Re: ****>>>> Who?
It's pretty bad some mornings. Everyone's in a rush rush rush and they do stupid crap like that because they are somehow more important than everyone else. I am convinced a good number of accidents occur when these folks who do this come zooming off the shoulder on to an onramp without looking and realizing there is, surprise-surprise, onramp traffic trying to merge.
GAH!
Those idiots will get payback one of these days I am sure.
