Excessive helmet wearing seemed to really work for this Big O.

That was just a euphemism. Ask Laura about it.

We're getting nowhere on health care, troops for Afghanistan, or Iranian nukes, so maybe we can make some headway on the Olympic situation if we can get Oprah on board.

I understand if this new initiative falls through the administration is planning to get to work on some really tough new seatbelt laws.

At least for DC.

Wasn't that Janet Reno in Waco? Georgie was trimming a Bush in Crawford.

i can't remember something.

did we actually all agree on the Mel Brooks ban?

bbqboy, i'll explain. some of us find Mr Brooks works incredibly funny ( i think silent movie is one of the greatest feats of movie making ever) while some of us don't find any humor in Mr Brooks ouvre.
it has caused, as i'm sure you can imagine, much of a stir. Kind of like the current billy heff fight, other then the fact that we actually care about the Brooks arguement. Anyway, to avoid further fighting, we just stopped talking about.

So, if someone with a better memory then me would chime in, that would be cool.

If you didn't argue, wouldn't you die? Besides, I don't care about rules.

I hope you at least read the rules...so you know what not to care about.

Actually, we banned discussion on former Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Derrick Brooks and legendary crooner Mel Torme. But, I could see how one could get confused.

so in other words, I'm being too nice?
OK.
By the way, I missed the mel brooks missive. Is this a socialist/collective web site where we all get to make decisions?
Sort of like biggest loser?

OK. I've thought about it for a minute. I was wrong to compare janet reno to willy wonka. Sorry.
