Why is the mayor of any US city traveling and giving speeches in China and Australia? Unless the topic is "mismanagement and natural disasters" I can't imagine what this guy would have to say?
As to your reference...wouldn't one have to prove themselves capable of reasoned thought before being considered as a viable candidate for brainwashing?

Oh I get why he'd WANT to give speeches...it is the fact people are willing to listen that has me scratching my head.
