If he was getting slapped by Al Capone's ghost I could probably watch for a couple of days.

Yes...also very enjoyable.

I do not like Jim Rome. I hate these do nothing TV asshats who like to pretend they are tough guys. I only wish he would have been beaten as badly as Geraldo.

I'd be the last guy to derail a thread but, speaking of TV asshats, can you believe that Ryan Seacrest was just signed at $15 million a year to host "American Idol"? If they wanted something that bland I'm sure that a bowl of oatmeal would/could do the job much cheaper. Seacrest is the embodiment of the kind of talentless nothing that my dad used to to call "a suit".

if he makes 15 mil a year, what do they pay the star, i.e. Simon?

and i believe that's the first time I've ever posted something with "i.e." in it. I feel so...dirty.

All of the shows "stars" are negotiating new contracts. I'm sure that Simon is asking for some really scary amount since I read somewhere that tight black t-shirts are very expensive.

Imagine how filthy you would feel if you posted something with "e.g." in it?
