Oh, Goddess...

...have you and or Pool Boy been to DC's Vidalia lately? Oh, my, I went back there this week for lunch and was, again, blown away. They've got an anniversary, $ 19.90, three course lunch menu and which is most impressive. I had their Carolina Fingerling Trout (crayfish, okra, tasso, étouffée) prefixed by a Blue Squash (cream) soup. Best yet, however, were their desserts as we split the following:




Again, oh, my.

Would you believe we've never been to Vidalia? Looks like we must rectify that.

I had the best pecan tart in the world in Portland recently. I would go back to the restaurant just for that. I'll have to see if Vidalia is a good substitute.
