It's tough times for the TV Land set. Does clothier also celebrate The Big Ragoo?

Actor Eddie Mekka was arrested Friday in Las Vegas after he was involved in a drunken car accident. Police received a call around 12:30 pm about an accident involving a “suspected drunk driver.”

Mekka was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. He was booked for misdemeanor suspicion of driving under the influence.

No other details on the accident were available. No injuries or deaths were reported.

Mekka, 57, is best known for his role as Carmine Rugusa or The Big Ragoo on Laverne and Shirley.

Didn't Mr. Roeper have that thyroid condition that makes your eyes bug out? Come to think of it, Mr. Furley had it too. Must have been going around the apartment complex.
